If you want a really big phone, and love using a stylus, and quite like the way that Samsung skins Android, then the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 could well be the phone for you – with the caveat that we're expecting the Galaxy Note 9 to arrive in the very near future.

For now though, the Note 8 is the top of the tree as far as phablets go. Samsung has been producing Notes for many years now, and the stylus is more than a gimmicky extra: you can use it to scribble notes on the lock screen, and get instant translations on text, and so on. There's plenty of room to use it on the spacious 6.3-inch Super AMOLED screen, running at a 1440 x 2960 pixel resolution.

In terms of internal components you get a Snapdragon 835 chipset and 6GB of RAM, together with up to 256GB of internal storage. Even in 2018 (the Note 8 came out last year), those are some very impressive specs. Meanwhile, the dual-lens 12MP+12MP camera can hold its own against the best in the business, with low-light performance particularly good.

It's big, and it's expensive, but it's still well worth considering the Note 8 against the two Galaxy S9 phones that came out months afterwards. You might be best off waiting to see what the Note 9 has to offer before parting with your cash though.

Motorola Moto G6

Best of the budget phones

Weight: 167g
Dimensions: 153.8 x 72.3 x 8.3mm
OS: Android 8.0
Screen size: 5.7 inches
Resolution: 1080 x 2160 pixels
CPU: Snapdragon 450
RAM: 3/4GB
Storage: 32/64GB

Front camera: 8/16MP f/2.2
+ Large, tall, crisp 5.7-inch display + Performance does the job

Not everyone wants top-end specs and the biggest screens, and with smartphone tech rapidly advancing, even budget phones can hold their own when it comes to speed and performance. Budget Android phones are a whole other list, but here we'll just mention one: the Motorola Moto G6 .

What's Your "Why"?
This simple technique will help you stay find and keep your motivation throughout your weight-loss journey.

Getting motivated to lose weight and live healthier is one thing; staying motivated—that's quite another. But a powerful, personal "why" can bolster your mojo and help clear your mind of when you hit bumps along the way.

How do I find my “why”?

Your "why" isn't the same as your goal—it’s the reason for wanting to get to your goal; the motor that gets you to your destination. Maybe you want to lose weight so that you can feel comfortable in your own skin or go on that amazing rollercoaster or hike a beautiful trail. The more specific your “why”—the more you can feel the wind on your face when you plummet down the highest hill of the coaster—the more powerful your “why” will be.

Don't worry about coming up with yourone-and-only"why."You don't have to commit forever; your "why" can change throughoutyour journey. You may achieve your first "why" and move on to another!

Need a little help?

1. Answer this question super quick: Why do you want to lose weight? (e.g., “I’m tired of not fitting into clothes.”)

2. Go into detail: What does that look like to you? How would your life be different? (e.g., “I could wear shorter dresses and skinny jeans.”)

3. Make it yours: Using your answers from Steps 1 and 2, ask yourself again, “Why do I want to lose weight?” Take your time, then frame your answer in a specific, personal way. (e.g., “I want to fit into clothes that I love and feel comfortable in what I’m wearing.”)

Once you have a handle on your reasons, lock on to them. Write them down , say them out loud, or keep a physical reminder of them (like a photo) nearby—anything that will help you remind yourself about what motivated and inspired you to start Weight Watchers, and why you are on this journey.
